With spring on our doorstep, it will soon be time for us to shed those winter layers. But how can you adapt your wardrobe for the office?

Getting the perfect balance in your office wardrobe can be quite tricky business. And with the office being a lot less formal you cannot just rely on wearing a suit. In fact depending on your career, women can wear any style of clothing as long as it’s smart and presentable. Spring I find is a particularly difficult season to dress for because you commute back and forth to work during the coldest part of the day and then of course lunch and work during the warmest part of the day. So your best bet is to layer up so that as the day gets warmer you can peel the layers off and then pop them back on when it gets cooler.  Wear a light trench coat over a skirt and shirt, or team a smart dress with a long cardigan.
